Class Analysis Meeting
During the morning reading lessons from 28th February to 2nd March, at the conference room on the second floor of the administration building, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus convened the class situation analysis meeting at this stage designated for Grade 9, other known as the working conference for graduating classes, which was chaired by Principal Assistant& Junior High Director Lu Dan. Also in attendance were Junior High Deputy Directors Wang Shengxiang, Hu Sen and all subject teachers from Grade 9.
First of all, head teachers in the graduating classes conducted meticulous analysis in terms of the final exam results, dived deep into the advantages& existing problems in their respective classes, made clear worthy goals to strive for in the next phase as well as positively sought the solutions and measures to the problems.
Second of all, each subject teacher reviewed their teaching activities and tried to find effective points of penetration and growth points in combination with a series of data and the recent testing results since the beginning of the new semester.
Third of all, concerning the first-round review for the Senior High School Entrance Examination, Deputy Director Wang Shengxiang made it clear that teachers should strictly carry out the first-round review plans, vigorously promote the double-base operational model, overhaul to teach students how to analyze questions and prevent the recessive loss of marks.
Fourth of all, Principal Assistant Lu Dan proceeded summary statements in which he highly affirmed the work and achievement in graduating classes in earlier stages and put forward explicit requirements in the meantime. To be specific, he demanded that the review programs of each discipline should be in connection with the Junior High Department of the west campus. What’s more, he emphasized the implementation of the top-notched-learner project as soon as possible and required that teachers should pay adequate attention to students’ physical, chemical experiments and sports tests. On the other hand, students were supposed to carry through targeted training in advance. Last but not the least, teachers in each discipline group and head teachers from each class were supposed to draw up the review plans and objectives for the Entrance Examination for Secondary School to keep forging ahead towards the targets.
To sum up, not only did this conference enable everyone to see the results and set a clear direction, but also enhanced everyone’s consciousness of responsibility, quality and efficiency, which laid a solid foundation for the victory in the 2017 Senior High School Entrance Examination.
